  • Do you offer financing?
    Yes! We partner with funding sources for our CDL course. During your initial screening visit we can review what options might be best for you.
  • How long is the CDL course?
    The Class A CDL course is 4 weeks long (160 hours). In includes one week of classroom study and 3 weeks of practical work driving, backing, and inspecting trucks. The Class B course takes about 3 weeks, including one week of classroom work and 1-2 weeks of practical work driving, backing, and inspecting trucks.
  • Can you help me get a job?
    Yes! Our placement rate is fantastic! We offer life-time job placement assistance to our graduates, and have partnerships with many carriers in and around the Northwest. The more flexible you are with your schedule, the easier it is to land a driving job.
  • What happens if I fail my final State exam?
    We have a great passing rate with most students passing on their first exam. However, sometimes it just doesn't happen for everyone, and that's okay! We are here to support you, to reinforce your knowledge and skills so you can pass on your next try! Don't worry - we will get you there!
  • Can I use my own truck for the course?
    We supply trucks and equipment needed for the course and final exam.
  • How long are your trailers?
    We primarily use 28-foot trailers during our CDL course. However we do have larger equipment that is used for advanced courses.
  • Do you offer night or weekend classes?
    We offer extended hours at some locations in the summer as the weather gets nicer and the sun stays out longer. This allows us to accommodate students with irregular schedules
  • What happened to Pacific NW Professional Driving?
    That's us! We changed our name to Toro Trucking Academy in the beginning of 2022 to better reflect our uniqueness and bold commitment to our students and the industry we contribute to.
